Asahi Industrial Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 1978 by Willy Kinoshita when he began supplying welding consumables to customers in North America and expanded to markets to all over the world.

Kinoshita entered the India market before the competition in 1990, and as a result Asahi is well known today as a reliable supplier of Japanese welding consumables to Indian welding and manufacturing industries.   This momentum also helped Asahi launch in new markets like the Middle East.

Asahi is now run by Kinoshita’s son, Ted, who has developed the business further by providing a larger range of special metals and importing unique overseas welding materials to the Japanese market.

Asahi always strives to be a best facilitator between users and manufacturers, understanding the positions and circumstances of both sides, and works hard to achieve benefits for both parties. Asahi believes that is the best and only way to keep business growing.
